To meet demand, we are looking for hard-working project managers for our Gisborne office. It’s important we find the right fit for our young, energetic and high performing team.

As a project manager at CPS, you will lead the development of key projects and relationships, including commercial, roading, water systems, and other critical infrastructure.

About the role

Civil Project Solutions are seeking switched-on Project Managers to oversee all aspects of our construction projects in the Gisborne, Hawkes Bay and Bay of Plenty areas.

As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality outcomes on time and within budget. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to make a significant impact within our growing organisation.

What you'll be doing:

Managing the end-to-end delivery of commercial and residential construction and infrastructure projects from planning to completion

Collaborate with third party architects, engineers, contractors and subcontractors for seamless project delivery.

Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets and quality control measures

Provide regular progress updates to internal stakeholders and clients

Identify and mitigate potential risks to keep projects on track

Ensure all projects comply with relevant building codes, regulations and safety standards

What we're looking for:

Minimum 3 years' experience working as an end-to-end Project Manager

and/or

Consulting or management experience with a history in New Zealand construction or infrastructure deliverables.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

A solid understanding of NZS3910/3915 would be advantageous

This role may suit an experienced engineer, scientist, surveyor or construction administrator looking for a permanent role in project management.
